Booking exams, courses and events
If you are a Trainee, Collegiate Member, Licentiate or Fellow of RCPI or one of our Faculties/Institute, you will see the fee you need to pay when you log in as part of the booking/application process.
Doctors on our Basic and Higher Specialist Training programmes enjoy free access or discounted fees for many of our courses and events. Our Collegiate Members, Licentiates and Fellows are also entitled to free access or discounted fees for many courses and events, however this is dependent on being up to date with your annual subscriptions payments. In some cases, those who are retired are entitled to additional discounts.
If you have paid your annual subscription for Collegiate Membership, Licentiateship or Fellowship, you will see what discount you are entitled to when you log in as part of the booking/application process.
How to pay annual subscriptions
You should receive an email from RCPI each year, detailing the amount due. You can pay in five different ways, listed below.
Pay by credit card online
Log in to our website. Click on Notifications and click on confirm beside your subscription bill.
Pay full amount or in instalments by direct debit
You can pay your subscription in instalments if you pay by direct debit. You will need to complete a direct debit mandate form and return it to RCPI. Under the SEPA payments system, we are only able to set up direct debits from Euro accounts within the Eurozone area.
Pay by cheque or bank draft
Simply attach your Euro cheque or bank draft to our remittance form and return it to RCPI. Due to Irish banking regulations we can only accept Euro cheques or bank drafts drawn on banks in the Republic of Ireland. Non-Euro drafts will be returned by post and we cannot accept responsibility for their loss.
Pay by credit or debit card over the phone
Call the RCPI Helpdesk which is open Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 GMT on Freephone 1800 303 574 (ROI Only) or +353 1 863 9721 or helpdesk@rcpi.ie Please have your RCPI ID and credit card details to hand.

To access the online components of a course, log in to our website (www.rcpi.ie) and, once logged in, click on the button entitled The Physician Network on the right-hand side of the screen.
When The Physician Network opens, look for My Courses in the dark grey panel on the left-hand side of the screen. When you click on My Courses, you will see a list of courses that you are currently enrolled on.
To open a course, click on the course title. This will open the course homepage.
When you are on the course homepage you will see a green Launch button on the top right-hand side of the screen. Clicking on this will launch the course in a new window.
When you launch a course you will see all the elements you need to complete in a left-hand table of contents. The table of contents is collapsed by default but you can expand it by clicking on the + button above it.
Make sure you work through each section of the course in sequence. When you have completed a section (this could involve watching a video or answering a question), click on the green Mark as Complete button at the top of screen.
If the content you are looking at is a video, you need to advance the content using the smaller grey arrows at the bottom of the screen – if you click on the green arrow before completion of the videos you will need to return to the video to watch it in its entirety before you can mark it as complete.
When you complete a course you will be asked to complete an online evaluation form; completing this evaluation, along with any required assessments, will unlock your certificate of completion. The course is now marked as completed by you.
Please refer to our cancellation policy
